Modi'in - "City of the Future"

Posted last November 7, 2012, 3:25 pm in Real Estate report article

Modern Modi'in was planned by the eminent architect Moshe Safdie in the early 90's as the "City of the Future".

Located halfway between Tel Aviv and Jerusalem, Modi'in is only a short commute by train, bus or car to Israel's two largest cities. Ben Gurion International Airport is nearby, as well as Israel's major intersecting highways (1, 6, 443, 431).

The city is characterized by wide boulevards, mainly low density housing, and extensive green spaces. In addition to the many large parks that contain a variety of amenities running the gamut from playgrounds to amphitheatres and even an artificial lake, there are many small intimate parks and green ways winding through the neighbourhoods. The city is primarily populated by young families and provides ample services for all ages including pre-school, primary, middle and secondary schools as well as Yeshivas, synagogues and mikves.

Modern homes in planned neighborhoods meeting the latest construction standards are still significantly lower priced than in the Tel Aviv or the Jerusalem areas.

One of the largest communities now developing in Modi'in is of English speaking Olim from North America, the UK and South Africa.

Please contact me and I would be happy to introduce you to Modi'in and help you in all aspects of finding your home here.
